About Me

Ich bin seit über 40 Jahren in unterschiedlichen Führungs- und Fachfunktionen der Bundeswehr tätig gewesen – von der Truppe bis hin zu strategischen Beschaffungsprojekten. Mein Schwerpunkt lag stets auf der Entwicklung, Beschaffung und Integration komplexer Systeme für das Heer, insbesondere im Bereich der Gefechtsfahrzeuge und Infanterieausrüstung.

Diese Erfahrung ermöglicht es mir heute, die Perspektiven und Bedürfnisse sowohl der militärischen Nutzer als auch der Industrie tiefgehend zu verstehen – und als Brücke zwischen beiden Welten zu wirken.

I have spent over 40 years serving in various leadership and specialist positions within the German Armed Forces – from field units to strategic procurement projects. My focus has consistently been on the development, acquisition, and integration of complex systems for the Army, particularly in the fields of combat vehicles and infantry equipment.

This experience allows me to deeply understand the perspectives and needs of both military users and industry – and to act as a bridge between these two worlds.

Bis 2025: Dezernatsleiter im Amt für Heeresentwicklung – verantwortlich für den Heeresbeitrag zu den Beschaffungsprojekten der Infanterie und querschnittlicher Ausrüstung
2009 bis 2025: Mitglied in den NATO Arbeitsgruppen Life Cycle Management und Land Capability Group Dismounted Soldier.
Bis 2021: Referats-/Projektleiter im Beschaffungsamt der Bundeswehr – verantwortlich für leichte Gefechts-, Überschnee- und Aufklärungsfahrzeuge (z. B. Wiesel 1, Wiesel 2, Fennek, BV206, BvS10)
Bis 2014: Berater für logistischen Support im Beschaffungsamt der Bundeswehr – unterstützt Systembereiche: Kampffahrzeuge, Unterstützungssysteme, Luftwaffengerät, IT-Gerät
2012: NSPA – Studie zu Lieferkettenprozessen in der Ersatzteilversorgung eines fliegenden Waffensystems
